Made by Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures shared it, being the follow-up to Doctor Strange (2016), also being the 28th movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Sam Raimi led the movie.

Michael Waldron wrote it, starring Benedict Cumberbatch playing Stephen Strange, together with Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.

In the movie, Strange keeps America Chavez (Gomez) safe, she is a teen who can travel across the multiverse, from Wanda Maximoff (Olsen).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022 Movie – Story

America Chavez and a version of the Stephen Strange get chased by some spooky monster within the space among all universes while looking for the Book of Vishanti. That Strange gets offed and Chavez makes a doorway that zaps herself plus Strange’s body to Earth-616.

The Strange there saves Chavez from another monster with help from the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong. Chavez says that these beings are chasing her as she can move through all of the multiverse.

Noticing witchcraft symbols, Strange talks to Wanda Maximoff hoping for help though he learns she is doing these attacks. Maximoff, now having the Darkhold plus becoming the Scarlet Witch, thinks using Chavez’s powers will let her see Billy plus Tommy again, those kids she made when living in Westview.

As Strange won’t give up Chavez, Maximoff hits Kamar-Taj hard, taking out many magic users. Chavez then moves herself plus Strange by accident to Earth-838 as Maximoff uses the Darkhold to go “dream-walking”, taking over her self on Earth-838, living a calm life having her own Billy plus Tommy.

One magic user who lived gives herself to destroy the Darkhold plus stop the dream-walk. Mad, Maximoff makes Wong guide her to Mount Wundagore, where the Darkhold’s power comes from, to start up the dream-walk once more.

As they looked for aid, Strange and Chavez got caught by Earth-838’s magic master, Karl Mordo, then faced the Illuminati, a team of Mordo, Carter, Boltagon, Rambeau, Richards, and Xavier. They said that by daftly using their world’s evil book to beat Thanos.

Earth-838’s Strange caused a world-ending “attack”. After beating Thanos, the group killed their Strange to stop any more issues. Mordo thinks Earth-616’s Strange is risky too, but Maximoff restarts her dream-walk at Mount Wundagore, entering her Earth-838 body before trials start.

She offs the Illuminati besides Mordo, who Strange stops before running off with Chavez. The two flee with aid from Strange’s old love, Christine Palmer, a science expert.

Review of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022

Sam Raimi sure put some creepy spice in this fast film. Doctor Strange in the crazy world is darker and wilder than any past movie, which may be cool.

But, it seemed like not much world-hopping and much freakiness. Even with fun looks, the story is quite jumbled, and the acting is shaky. This flick is a fun cruise, but it’s too rough to shine alone.

Okay, moving on from WandaVision, Wanda still acts as a controller who gets away with making a town her slaves. Now, she’s a killer who puts trillions of folks in danger, wipes out worlds, makes more slaves, all to off a kid, hoping that’ll help her change her plan to off a mom and grab her pretend kids.

Her saving moment is when she sees she’s a creep and stops being bad in the last 2 minutes. And we’re told to feel bad for her awful deeds since she is sad because she had to quit dreaming about her kids, and had to stop all the bossing and hurting she did just to dream up some fake make-believe children.

It was flashy and dumb, so it worked as just silly, easy fun… Kinda boring, and I spaced out during parts since I was thinking of other stuff since it wasn’t interesting.
