Sung Yu-ri is a West German-born South Korean singer and actress. She first became well-known in 1998 she was a part of the now-defunct K-pop girl group Fin.K.L. In 2002, following the breakup of Fin.K.L., Sung made the move to acting.

Since then, she has acted in several popular television dramas, such as Feast of the Gods, Hong Gil-dong, The Snow Queen, and Thousand Years of Love.

Sung graduated from Kyung Hee University in February 2005, is the daughter of a well-known theologian who teaches at the Presbyterian College & Theological Seminary in Seoul, South Korea.

Sung won the “Best New Actress” prize for her debut performance in the miniseries “Bad Girls.” She played both a contemporary woman and an ancient princess in the hit television series “Thousand Years Of Love” that followed.
