The Transformers star is also a mother to three boys named Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. Fox has these sons with her former husband Brian Austin Green, from whom she separated in 2020 after being together on and off for 16 years.

“To me, it feels like UFC Fight Night all the time, every day,” she joked on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2021. “They care about each other a lot. They are very close friends.” The actress says her children have helped her to become a better person, and she told The Washington Post in 2021 that they “kind of rescued me.” Because of this, she tries to help them grow without controlling them too much.

“They were meant to be who they are, and it’s my responsibility to help them in that process, not to step in and try to manage and change them into what I think they should be,” she explained. Fox and Green had their first child together, a son, on September 27, 2012. The actress herself announced the news about her baby, writing on Facebook, “We have been very fortunate to have had a quiet few weeks at home, but I want to share this myself before anyone else does.” She then shared that she had a son, and she told everyone his gender, name, and birthday. “He is healthy, happy, and perfect,” she wrote.

As Noah has gotten older, Fox has talked openly about his growing interest in fashion and his desire to wear dresses something that she says started when he was around 2 years old. “Sometimes, he picks out his own clothes, and he likes to wear dresses sometimes,” Fox said on The Talk in 2019. “And I send him to a very open-minded, relaxed school, but even there here in California he still has some boys saying, ‘Boys are not supposed to wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys are not supposed to wear pink.’ “

“So we’re dealing with that right now, and I’m trying to teach him to feel confident no matter what other people say,” she added, and she shared that after he was recently made fun of for wearing a dress to school, he told her, “‘I don’t mind, I really love dresses.’ ” To help him deal with the mean kids and build his self-esteem, Fox reads books that support being yourself in any way.

“Some books simply show how a boy can wear a dress; you can show who you are through what you wear however you like,” she mentioned on The Talk. “And it doesn’t even have to be about who you are attracted to.” He also really likes designing clothes. “He creates and draws outfits. He’s very good at it,” Fox said, and added that he often enjoys helping her pick outfits during fittings.

Besides his love for fashion, her “kind child” also loves music. “I’m very proud of my children,” she said happily, sharing her oldest child’s hidden skill. “Noah is an amazing pianist. He can learn Mozart’s concerto in just one hour.” In an interview about being on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, the mom of three shared that Noah is “an artist” with a lot of Libra and Pisces traits, adding, “[It] amazes me how talented he is.”

Bodhi Ransom Green, 11

Fox and Green had their second child, a son named Bodhi, on Feb. 12, 2014. His name is important in Buddhism, meaning “wise,” which is what made Fox like the name. “Bodhi, in Buddhism, is when Buddha became wise and reached peace, while sitting under the Bodhi tree,” Fox shared on Conan in 2014. She added that she “would be lying” if she didn’t say that she also liked Patrick Swayze’s character in “the best movie ever, Point Break.”

As for Bodhi’s middle name, it’s “also kind of religious and spiritual to me,” she explained, noting that it means “being saved” and is also her great-grandfather’s middle name. Fox says she has a “complicated” relationship with social media she has deleted her Instagram account many times but she has posted a few rare pictures of Bodhi and his siblings over the years.

When he was only 20 months old, the Transformers actress shared a cute close-up of his face, showing that he looked just like her with his big blue eyes and long eyelashes. “Bodhi: Amazing. Funny. Special,” she wrote as the caption for the photo of him in a Nirvana T-shirt, which has since been taken down.

In her SI Swimsuit interview, the actress called Bodhi a “little bro,” revealing that he always tells the truth and tries to do what’s right. “The typical middle child who can’t really be bad,” she said.

Fox and Green had their third child together, a son named Journey, on Aug. 4, 2016. Their baby news happened after a difficult time, when Fox filed for divorce in 2015. Even though they were splitting up, the two were seen together with and without their sons many times, leading people to think they might not break up. Only a few months after filing, they announced that they had gotten back together and were expecting another child.

“I’m feeling wonderful. I really enjoy being pregnant,” the actress from Midnight in the Switchgrass mentioned to Extra back then. “I’m feeling very effective creating a human being that I’m very eager to get to know because I’m aware that I have a deep spiritual link to them. So I am very excited to meet this new person in my family.”

In her SI Swimsuit conversation, Fox shared a rare glimpse into her youngest child’s personality, saying that he is “bad and likes to cause trouble,” but also “delightful and very cute.” She also mentioned that he is inquisitive and remembers things well, sharing that he could memorize a lot at a young age. “When he was 3, he already knew about 1,600 kinds of dinosaurs,” she said. “So his brain is very strong.”

Fox and MGK had their first child together, a girl, on March 27, 2025. The rapper shared the good news on Instagram, telling his fans that their baby girl was born while listening to calming 432 Hz music, which is believed to have a relaxing impact on the mind and body.

“We created the music for the birth,” MGK shared on his Instagram Stories, mentioning a few musician friends, like Travis Barker. “What an amazing experience.
