Sophia Lucia began dancing at age two at San Diego Dance Centre, competing by age three, and soon became known for her tap and modern solos. Her popular YouTube video in 2012, showing 40 pirouettes.
She her appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and her Guinness World Record of 55 pirouettes in a row in 2013, achieved at Kids Artistic Revue in San Diego. She first seen on TV shows Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and America’s Got Talent in 2013, even making it to the Vegas Round.
